What's the difference between a collection and a product/variant based notification?

If you setup a collection based notification, you will receive all products within the Shopify collection/s you choose that breach your chosen low inventory threshold.
If you choose to create a product/variant based notification, you will receive only the products/variants that you select that breach your low inventory threshold.
